What a heartwarming story of God at work. In June a team of Asbury United Methodist Church members came together to pack medical supplies for HWHL that were donated by Through These Hands. Those supplies have arrived safely in Liberia and are being distributed by our Community Health Workers in the Margibi County villages we serve.
The distribution of wheelchairs donated by Through These Hands and shipped by Asbury United Methodist Church continues in Margibi County Liberia. Our happiest client broke into a song of thanksgiving.
What the Lord has done for me, I cannot tell it all
What the Lord has done for me, I cannot tell it all
What the Lord has done for me, I cannot tell it all
He saved me and washed my sin away
When I was saved (hallelujah)
When I was saved (hallelujah)
When I was saved
Praise the Lord
We just received these pictures of a remarkable man who was the recipient of one of the wheelchairs. As you can see, he does not have use of his legs and propels himself using flip-flops on his hands. Here he is receiving his wheelchair. That smile says it all. God is so good! What an honor it is to be a small part of this ministry changing lives in Liberia.
