WPHCC Patient Services
The Waterfield Primary Health Care Center (WPHCC) provides diagnosis, treatment and care of patients in the communities it serves. Patients come to the Center exhibiting a wide range of conditions, including epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, malaria, typhoid fever, peptic ulcers, wounds, infections, diarrhea, worms, dental problems, cataracts, eye diseases and ear infections, sickle cell anemia, pregnancy, birth control, cough and respiratory conditions, breast problems and body pain.
Designated staff members at the Waterfield Primary Health Care Center (WPHCC) provide pre- and post-natal care, vaccinations and cold chain management, out patient management, laboratory and pharmacy operations.
More than Healthcare
In addition to WPHCC providing direct health care to patients in 36 villages it serves in Margibi County, staff also provide Health Education on a variety of topics:

- Disease prevention, basic hygiene and hand washing instruction
- How to build dish racks to keep dishes out of the dirt
- Mother to Mother classes
- Nutrition classes and food preparation instruction
- Signs and symptoms of typhoid and malaria and treatment
- How to prevent diarrhea and subsequent treatment
- How to prevent worms and subsequent treatment
- Family planning and birth control instruction
- Diabetes, heart disease and prenatal instruction and treatment
