Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia (HWHL) has responded to a call to serve the least and heal the sick. This is a major feat, which coincides with the core principles of Jesus Christ’s ministry.
Partnership is defined beyond the mere exchange of resources and services.
Partnership requires walking together in communal ministry. We cannot achieve success without the sharing of concerns for each other, which we define as empathy. And, we cannot claim concern without engaging with each other.
Scripture affirms the significance of support to missionaries’ ministries:
Acts 11:29-30 – “The disciples, as each one was able, decided to provide help for the brothers and sisters living in Judea. 30 This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.” (NIV)
Acts 20:35 – “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (NIV)
As we pray and endeavor to expand the reach and services of HWHL, we also ask for your prayers in addition to your financial support to bolster this ministry to a level where the Liberian people and our global partners can have a cause to glorify Jesus Christ.
Thank You!
