The new Dental Clinic was installed at the Waterfield Primary Health Care Center in January 2020. Two installers, Levi Gray and Russ Frasher from Coloroado, USA, came to Kakata in January and stayed with Caleb and Monika Sannoh who are volunteers at the Waterfield Center.
The clinic will not open for patients until Dr. Cox moves to Kakata from Ganta. The Center also needs to be cleared to start seeing patients. Dr. Cox came for the training when the installation team was at the Center.
The Dental Suite equipment was donated through Project C.U.R.E. under the direction of Dr. Duane Spalding, a former member of the HWHL Board of Directors. The equipment arrived in Monrovia in Oct 2019; arrangements were made to transport the equipment to Kakata. The two installers also provided training for the Center’s staff.
