The New Maternity Center is Open!
Rejoice with us as we announce the blessed arrival of the first bundle of joy at our newly opened maternity center! Let’s celebrate the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Maredthur F. Queemelynee, born on October 16th.
Since then, two more precious bundles have graced us with their presence: Baby boy Eastman Johnson (pictured) and baby girl Mary Benedict.
Their first cries mark the beginning of boundless love, pure happiness, and the anticipated sleepless nights for their families. Let’s raise our voices in praise for the miracle of life and the immeasurable joy these little ones bring into our world!

Through These Hands
Through These Hands in Slatington, Pennsylvania was founded by retired nurse Dorene Shannon and her husband Bruce to accept donations of medicines and medical equipment from hospitals and clinics and offer those supplies at no charge to medical missions around the world.
Waterfield Medical Clinic’s Medical Director, Dr. Chris Hena visited Through These Hands for the first time in March 2017 and immediately bonded with Dorene working together to care for God’s children in Liberia. Dr. Hena writes, “When I was asked to write something about Through These Hands, I started to search my brain for adjectives to describe all that you do, but couldn’t find one that best describes you (Dorene) or Through These Hands.
This is what came to my mind later. Jesus is alive and He is working at Through These Hands to bring salvation to our homeland of Liberia and her peoples. When I see people with tears of joy after receiving a wheelchair, diapers, babies gifts, or wound care materials, etc., it usually brings tears to my own eyes. These people I am talking about, would have never been able to purchase any of those items on their own.
The Lord is working through you to restore dignity and hope to His people that leads to their salvation. Thank you very much for a job well done.”
